Nikki Morris, CEO of Deafblind UK.
Nikki Morris is Deafblind UK's new Chief Executive Officer!

On the 1st of January, we welcomed Nikki Morris as our new CEO. Her predecessor, Steve Conway, retired at the end of 2022. Before joining our team, Nikki was CEO of Age UK Camden. She created a wide range of outstanding specialist services including day services, care navigation, counselling and digital inclusion.

In 2022, Nikki was awarded the British Empire Medal for services to Camden during the Covid-19 pandemic. She is also a registered nurse with a long-standing interest in research. She has led the national Cancer Forum at the Royal College of Nursing for many years.

Nikki joins Deafblind UK at a really exciting time in our history, as we develop new initiatives including a project to identify early signs of deafblindness and launch specialist resources for school.

“We have a clear vision with exciting plans to deliver and a strong team. I look forward to playing my part in making the UK a more accessible and enjoyable place for all those affected by deafblindness,” Nikki said.

We hope you will join us in welcoming Nikki to the team and looking forward to this exciting new chapter in our history! Find out more about Nikki on our website.
